Meet with organization representatives and learn about programs, opportunities, courses, and upcoming events.
*New Project Celebrating Canada 150*. Join members of the Alberta Wildlife Carving Association and learn how true-to-life carvings are created from these experienced artists. This interactive station offers a unique opportunity to a limited number of Ladies’ Day Out registrants to participate in the design and creation of a miniature carving project under expert instruction. Due to the popularity of this activity, pre-registration is required and the event will be limited to 14 total participants (two groups of seven participants - one morning session beginning at 10am and one afternoon session beginning at 1pm). Ladies attending the morning class must arrive at Cabela's Edmonton South and check in no later than 9:30 a.m. to avoid losing their seat. Please provide the first and last names of all ladies registering and indicate your preference of morning or afternoon participation. Ladies, we invite you to check out the PRISM 1000 Mobile Shooting Simulator in the Cabela's Edmonton South parking lot. If you're curious about firearms or are just looking for a thrill, this realistic, true-to-life simulator safely introduces you to the mechanics of firing a gun – video-game style. Participation will be on a walk-up, first-come-first-serve basis.
Ladies, for fashion or for function, paracord tying is a fun and useful hobby. Whether you're a novice tyer or a seasoned pro, come and experience hands on braiding with representatives from the Onoway Fish and Game Ladies League. In this activity, you will create a stylish survival bracelet out of strong and durable parachute cord (550 cord). All materials will be provided. Space is limited and participation will be on a walk-up, first-come-first-serve basis.

Join representatives from the Ducks Unlimited Canada Edmonton Ladies Chapter for a fun and interactive waterfowl identification activity where you will learn about the many species of ducks and geese that call the Canadian prairies home.
